Equal Opportunity Schools and the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC) are hosting a regional convening at 12:30 p.m. on January 9, 2019, at the Tulsa OPSRC offices (907 S. Detroit Avenue, Suite 630, Tulsa, OK 74120). This event is for select Oklahoma district leaders interested in achieving equitable access to rigorous high school coursework across race and socioeconomic status in their schools. EOS and OPSRC will share local and regional level opportunity gap analysis and research and solutions for addressing equity and excellence gaps.

Attendance qualifies you to apply for the 2019-20 Action for Equity cohort. Cohort members receive matching grant dollars for coaching, data-driven analysis and strategic advising, technical tools and reports and support in shifting adult mindsets when identifying and enrolling low-income students and students of color who are capable of being successful in but not yet enrolled in rigorous AP/IB courses.
