The much-anticipated holiday break is something all educators and students look forward to: time to read, enjoy family, hang with friends, relax with a favorite hobby and catch up on much-needed sleep.
As a school leader, you may be tempted to go radio silent on your school's social media accounts during vacation, but the holiday break is a perfect time to grow and engage your audience. Why? For one, most people's schedules are a big lighter leading up to the holidays, and they are actively looking at their social media feeds on a regular basis. Many others are on vacation, so they have ample time to peruse Facebook, Instagram and their other sites. Take advantage of this!
