Erin serves as OPSRC's Innovative Strategies Coordinator. In this role, she oversees the Code.org regional partnership for Oklahoma by organizing and promoting PD opportunities that help teachers implement computer science in fun and engaging ways. Her role also includes building relationships with school districts to help them implement other innovative educational initiatives.
Erin grew up in Stroud, Oklahoma. She earned her undergraduate degree in early childhood education from Oklahoma State University and earned her Master of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. In her 15 years in education, Erin has served in a variety of roles in Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. As an elementary computer science teacher, she realized the importance of access to high-quality computer science education for all students.
