Kashuan Hopkins is a member of OPSRC's technology team and serves as an instructional technology specialist. In this role, he will use technology to help teachers create environments and resources that enable learners to innovate, collaborate and creatively solve problems.
Kashuan graduated from the University of Oklahoma in spring 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics education. He taught middle school and high school math for four years before going back to OU for his masters. He earned his M.Ed. in instructional design and technology in summer 2020, focusing on curriculum development and instructional design.
While pursuing his master’s degree, Kashuan worked at the University of Oklahoma's IT Learning Spaces Program as an instructional technology trainer. He assisted faculty in incorporating instructional technology, created and facilitated group and online training and produced instructional resources for remote learning.
